Default Kindle arrows vs. conjure flame

It seems like there are far more people who use conjure than kindle. I just don't see why.

Kindle
1) More damage by 7
2) Preparation, not enchantment
3) Can use a zealous/vampiric string

Conjure Flame
1) Lasts longer (60 compared to 24)

Any thoughts?

Conjure flame = enchantment, and doesn't get cancelled when they use barrage?
(Barrage cancells all preps).

I might be missing something here, but can't you use both?

Yeah, im using both at the moment with a fiery bowstring, best of both worlds. Also, there was some confusion about wether or not a icy/lighting bow string and conjure water/air could be used with kindle/ignite arrows as the preps would turn the air/water damage to fire, thus negating it, but it still works. I experimented with and icy bowstring and conjure water with ignite arrows and the damage all came out.
(Something like this 52, 24, 8. So normal damage, ignite arrows, and conjure water.)

For me it Kindle was always better, I only like conjure because you could team it up with barrage but if barrage had a wider range as in mobs don't have to be tightly clustered i'd use it alot and but its not like that so for me kindle always good and harder to remove and goes well other ranger skills (example: poison arrow) and is affected by expertise and allows the use of zealous string (love this string).

This works with Ignite because Ignite doesn't modify your bow's damage type. However, Kindle converts your damage to fire and it won't work with Conjure Ice / Lightning; Kindle takes precedence.

Couldnt you still cast Conjure THEN Kindle? Would Kindle cancel out the allready on enchantment damage?

It doesn't matter what order you cast them in, Kindle still seems to take precedence, making the Conjure useless.

Ok, well I'm getting the hang of my ranger character I made. Any tips on what skills work best at dealing the most damage? My main character is an E/Mo so I've got a lot of energy, I find my ranger does not do as much damage and does not have as much energy. I believe I have kindle and conjure flame for my arrows but I switched from conjure to kindle to try that out... Is it worth filling up my skill bar with simular skills?

As a lv9 Ranger I just got to Piken Square, whats skills work best?

So you are saying that if I use Ignite, then I don't have to waste a slot on a firey bow string to use conjure fire?

And as a corrallary if I use Ignite and Winter, then I don't have to waste a slot on an icey bow string?
